What is a state change and how to calculate it?

A state change occurs when a task moves from one node to another. A task passing through four nodes undergoes three state changes. Total number of state changes can be expressed as SC = (N – 1) x T, where:

  • SC is the number of state changes.
  • N is the number of nodes in a Process.
  • T is the number of tasks received in a Process.

What are RPS (Requests per second) and how to calculate them?

RPS (Requests per second) represent the number of tasks that can be sent to all your Processes within 1 second. For example, if you have the 10 RPS license and you try to send 11 tasks per 1 second to your Processes, the last task won’t be sent, and you will receive the RPS limit reached error.

What happens if I use up all the state changes of my license?

After all state changes of your license have been used up, your RPS equals 0 and you can’t send tasks to a Process until you replenish your state changes account.

What is storage and what does it include?

The storage is the space occupied by the Simulator.Company application in your cloud. By default, you get 15 GB of storage for free every month. The storage includes:

  • Created actors
  • Created graphs
  • Created transactions
  • Added attachments

Is support included in the license?

Yes, all our clients receive the basic AI support package free of charge. Other support packages can be purchased individually:

  • Business 9/5: Support by our operators via email or chat within 9 working hours from Monday till Friday ($2000 a month).
  • Enterprise 24/7: Support by our operators and personal Account Manager via email or chat on a 24/7 basis ($5000 a month).

Do you offer a free license?

Yes, you can have a free Cloud license with RPS=5 for an unlimited period and a 15Gb storage. When you register for the first time, you are given 1 million of state changes. When you run out of them, you will not be able to send tasks to Processes and your RPS will be equal to 0.

What is the difference between paid Cloud and In-House licenses?

Paid Cloud license:
  • Provides selected number of RPS with paid state changes
  • Is used on the Simulator.Company domain
  • Doesn’t have an expiration date (you can pay for it monthly or yearly)
Paid In-House license:
  • Provides paid number of RPS with state changes and storage not being priced or limited
  • Is used on a separate environment
  • Has an expiration date

Do you give refunds?

No, we do not have this option.

Can I change the RPS for my license?

  • If you have the active Cloud license, you can change the number of RPS any time.
  • If you have the active In-House license, you can purchase a new license and specify the needed number of RPS.
